Lightsong-Inayattiyya online class series 2019 -2020

September 2019 – June 2020
Monthly classes with weekly follow-up e-mail reflections

After the summer break, our classes will begin again at the end of September 2019 and run until end of June 2020. These classes are aimed at offering ongoing spiritual support and guidance for those who seek to deepen and integrate Sufi teachings into daily life. In this new series, we will journey through the Sufi planes of consciousness in the awakening of the fullness of life within and without.

The guiding light and inspiration for these classes are the universal Sufi teachings of Hazrat Inayat Khan, Pir Vilayat Inayat Khan and Pir Zia Inayat Khan. These monthly online classes have been attended by both new and experienced meditators and spiritual seekers from over seventeen countries since 2015, and many have reported receiving meaningful spiritual support and benefit from them.

In addition to specific thematic teachings each month, the classes include sacred music, prayers, guided meditations, mystical poetry, and spiritual practices with breath, light, wazaif (mantrum) and zhikr (remembrance). To keep the classes “digestible” each monthly class contains four separate sections which do not exceed 35 minutes of recording time, making it easy to review the parts that are of interest and relevance to each participant. These are easy to download and listen to offline, and are available indefinitely to those who are registered. The monthly practices and thematic readings are written out for you to download.

In between receiving a recorded monthly class, participants also receive a weekly invitation to reflect on some of the themes addressed in the classes. There are opportunities to access a closed Facebook group to connect with the members of the class, regular ZOOM conference calls to share our experiences together, as well as personal contact with Saki for questions or concerns.

The Guide of this class series is Saki Lee: Saki Lee has been guiding online Sufi classes since 2015 as a way to support seekers and lovers of truth from over 18 countries. She has been a student of Sufism since 1974 when she first met her teacher and guide Pir Vilayat Inayat Khan (son of Hazrat Inayat Khan and father of Pir Zia Inayat Khan) in the high Alps of Chamonix, France. Since then, she has served as a senior teacher, retreat guide and friend to many throughout the world.
