September 2020 – June 2021
Tuning the Instrument:
A Monthly Online Course on Sufi Mysticism
“There are two aspects of life: the first is that one is tuned by one’s surroundings and the second is that one can tune oneself in spite of one’s surroundings. This latter is the work of the mystic.” – Hazrat Inayat Khan –
After the summer break, our classes will begin again at the end of September 2020 and run until end of June 2021. In our new series the focus is on tuning ourselves as instruments of blessings and grace for ourselves and for our suffering world.
Since 2015, these classes have included an international community from over 18 countries. Both newcomers as well as more experienced students of meditation and the inner life have joined us So come, come whoever you are!
Please scroll all the way down if you would like to register.
These classes are offered in the spirit of spiritual friendship and support to all who wish to deepen and integrate Sufi mysticism into daily life. Our classes have its foundations on the universal Sufi teachings of Hazrat Inayat Khan, the alchemical model of transforming consciousness inspired by Pir Vilayat Inayat Khan, and updated attunements and teachings of Pir Zia Inayat Khan.
Four sections to download each month: PLEASE NOTE that the monthly live ZOOM classes that will also be offered are an addition to this series!
The recorded classes each month have four separate sections which can be easily downloaded and listened to offline whenever you wish. Each monthly class includes sacred music, prayers, guided meditations, a morning meditation, and themes with Sufi practices. A transcript of the main practices given each month is also provided for you to download and print out.
Each week, Saki sends out a short e-mail with a poem, a prayer, or some attunement that relates to the monthly themes. This is a way to stay connected each week.
ZOOM live meditation and zhikr classes:
There will be additional live ZOOM classes offered regularly each month on Thursday evenings. We come together to see each other, share songs, chants and practices together. There are also opportunities for us to practice listening with awakened hearts to each other through breakout rooms. We begin our classes at 20:00 CET, and the dates will be given at the beginning of the series
Since the pandemic, we’ve had regular livestreamed ZOOM classes which have enhanced our sense of joining together in community in a very personal way.
