Welcome! Our next series of online classes with Saki will begin in September 2017 and run until end of December. The theme is The Spirit of Guidance: Working with Intuition and Inspiration. Here you will find out what is involved and how to register.
Many people from around the world had joined our last four groups, and gave much positive feedback. We hope that this next series of four classes will also be a source of spiritual support for you, and help you feel more connected with our international community and the transmission of guidance that flows through the lineage of the Inayati Sufi Order.
WHAT IS IT? Monthly online classes give continuity in spiritual support and practice for those who seek to deepen and integrate Sufi teachings in the midst of daily life. The universal Sufi teachings of Hazrat Inayat Khan, his son Pir Vilayat Inayat Khan and grandson Pir Zia Inayat Khan form the foundation for our classes.
WHO CAN REGISTER? Regardless whether you are a beginner or advanced practitioner of Sufi mysticism or any other tradition, all serious seekers and lovers of truth are welcome. Since 2015, this has become a supportive community of like-minded people journeying together from many different countries.
WHEN IS IT? Our next online course is a four month series. They will be posted on September 23, October 21, November 18, and December 23, 2017. However, you will be able to access and listen to all classes whenever you wish to once we have posted them. They remain available for some time after the course has been concluded.
HOW DOES IT WORK? Each month you will be sent an e-mail giving you the class outline and a log-in password. There will be four different audio files per class which you will be able to download and listen to offline if you wish. Each section is usually about 30 -35 minutes long, and can be listened to separately. Some people like listening to one section per week.
WHAT IS THE FORMAT OF THE CLASSES? Each class consists of four sections which include sacred music, prayers, meditation, Sufi teachings and practices with light, breath, wazaif (divine qualities) and zhikr. The four sections include a morning attunement, two sections on specific themes with Sufi teachings and practices, and a “mystic relaxation” section for deepening inner calm.
ADDITIONAL OPTIONAL SUPPORT FOR PARTICIPANTS: These include a weekly reflection, possibility for joining a closed Facebook group, occasional Skype small group conference calls, and personal contact with Saki for questions and concerns related to the classes.
COSTS: To keep the costs affordable for everyone who sincerely wishes to join, we offer a sliding scale fee (according to income), € 65, – €80,- or €95,- for the entire 4 month series.
